I have done a PC blog in a while. Sometimes after love-making it's very late and I'm just plain old tired. Sometimes however, my philisophical side is ignited. I fall deep into thought. Waves of notions surge.
I wondered why so many people, scientists and religious alike, say that sex is simply for procreation - a strong biological urge that is primitive and deep in our brains that makes the urge to procreate very strong.
I think sex is more than just for procreation - I mean biologically even. I don't think it's only function is that simple - make babies. I feel sex is much more complicated than that.
If sex is only for procreation then why do we feel emotional during sex? Attached emotionally? Why doesn't it just plain of feel good physically and that's it? Just pleasurable sensations, relase, done…and done.
Granted, I am talking about having sex with somebody you care about - REAL sex, not just the primal urge kind that is no more a body function of pleasure than gorging on favorite food or even using the restroom.
I am talking about sex with somebody you admire and care about and actually WANT to connect with.
I think there are different levels of sexual enjoyment and connetion. The bottom rung of the ladder would be one-night-stands that are meaningless to you and on up, to deep soulful sex, which is the true top of the temple, nirvana, elightenment.
I think that like anything else, sex can be an evolution. It can have levels of or depths, if you prefer.
Like our spirits or souls, we can educate ourselves and learn to connect with something greater, like God for some, or earth for others - nature or just being more aware and in touch with one's self. I think that our sexual education is lacking in this society sometimes. Fast-food sexuality with no substance, if you will. No soul.
I want to be a connected lover. I want to feel his soul fill me up and burn in a circle of fire, out of my mouth, into his, out of his hips, into mine. Not just our physical selves giving and giving, but also our spiritual essences doing the same…energy…moving…flowing.

you have it so right in your entry here-so pleasant to read-the spiritual essences , energies, moving, flowing, in our existence- from sex with a soulmate which offers glimpses of God thru total comfortable momentary release of consciousness in the vessel of another being..-or those in the zone moments when one is conscious of a connected awareness to the earth -where the hair stands up gleefully on the back of your neck as a sublimely satisfying orgasmic like chill raptures your physical body–these are indeed glimpses of the greater consciousness…and you know they are plugged into an energy far greater than just your own consciousness of the present moment..there is a much greater connection to time and space thru these windows for us humans…just wandered over here…/pleasant writing..
you are a stage 4 person on the trail of life…now the journey really has intensity in store for you at times…smile and laugh much…
Yes…glimpses of God is a way to put it. Sex can be a religious experience…worshipping.
